The Harley-Davidson Road King, Indian Springfield and Victory Gunner we had on our trip through the Midwest played perfectly in this environment, a threesome of American-developed and manufactured steeds with big V-Twin engines and loping cadences in a traditional cruiser profile. Saddlebags and cop-style plexiglass windshields accommodated comfort and stowage during four long days on the road.
