The Guntherwerks 400R is the ultimate interpretation of the answer to an interesting question: "What if Porsche kept the 911 air-cooled, and continued to evolve that shape and technology for 25 more years?" It has a completely carbon fiber body, a mostly carbon fiber interior, and everything is as light as possible to get the curb weight down to 2,500 lbs. It has a 430-horsepower Rothsport Racing 4.0L air-cooled flat six; a toughened six-speed gearbox with custom ratios, and a virtually square stance, 295's up front and 315's in back, which uses a motorsport-bred electric power steering system. Overall, the product is brilliant.
