As Zack and Matt work their way through all the fast crossovers on the market, BMW's X3M Competition stands out. It has a preview of what the new M3 engine will be: 503 HP of twin-turbo 3.0L inline six fury. It's got the gearbox and AWD system from the M5, though disappointingly without RWD mode. It will do 0-60 in 3.3 seconds using launch control, and blast through the quarter mile in the low 11's (and we hear, with a tune, in the 10's.) And it's a quiet, comfortable, spacious, and luxurious, practical daily driver.
