You've watched the diagnostic videos, you've tried new fluid, and all the fixes, but your transmission is still acting up, or not working at all. You might be at the point where it just needs to be replaced. In this video, Andy guides you through the process of removing the old transmission and installing a replacement for the GM GMT800 truck and SUV platform. Since there may be some minor variations across years and models, this is not a detailed step by step with torques and wrench sizes, but it should provide enough guidance to get you through it along with a shop manual or other source of specifications!
