The Lexus CT200h is a posh small hatch with a hybrid drivetrain, which means low emissions, high mpg and small tax bills. It's nicely appointed inside, with plenty of kit for the money.
Dreadful ride quality and lifeless steering take the edge off reasonable handling. Hybrid powertrain lacks poke, while the whiney stepless CVT auto gets tiring when you accelerate hard.
The Lexus CT200h is a nice idea, and the stats stack up, but the driving experience really lets the car down. The harsh ride and poor refinement just aren't good enough. However, you get top-notch build and customer service, low running costs and a premium image.
