At last, Mercedes has given us a worthy rival to the BMW 3-series coupe. Tested here in mid-spec diesel form, the car is refined and well-balanced when pushed. It's also cheaper and cleaner than the BMW, so things are looking good. Here, Jamie Corstorphine puts it to the test in our quick fire review.
