Rolls-Royce has showcased the new, second generation Ghost, a sleeker, more luxurious, more powerful and more comfortable replacement to the outgoing model.
Longer, wider and taller, the new Ghost adopts an evolutionary design with a typical profile, a sportier front end and a swooping rear. Inside, the Ghost stays true to its heritage with a mix of tradition dials and modern touchscreens for the front and rear passengers. It also gets an illuminated dashboard panel with an illuminated Ghost facia that is designed to replicate 850 stars.
Under the skin the Ghost gets new aluminium architecture – the same as the Phantom and Cullinan and a 6.75-litre, twin-turbo V12 making 571hp and 850Nm of torque. The Ghost will make it to India with deliveries starting next year and with prices starting at Rs 6.95 crore (ex-showroom).
