The Lightfighter electric superbike is the culmination of a lot of hard work between two friends, a slew of technical partners, and Motorcycle.com's own Troy Siahaan to build an electric racing motorcycle with a geometry-first design. This is Lightfighter version 2.0, and this three-part mini-series will take you through the tumultuous year we had in 2020.

Part 1 is all about The Maiden Voyage at Buttonwillow Raceway for the first test, less than a week after Brian Wismann and Ely Schless finished putting the bike together.
