ECU Flash Tuning – What Is It?

Unlike motorcycles of the past, many modern street bikes can gain a lot of power without ever getting your hands dirty. The process is called flash tuning, but it's also known as ECU flashing, remapping, and several other names. The overall idea is the same: taking your stock ECU (Electronic Control Unit) and changing its parameters to build more power, deliver power smoother, and make it run as best as it can. Here, we see the process in action with Shiv Pathak of Open Flash Performance, with the help of the dyno facilities at Rottweiler Performance.
