The Trueno Returns: Toyota GR86 Review

The Toyota GR86 has from very tough shoes to fill. The Scion FRS,Subaru BRZ, and Toyota GT86 were a massive hit when it came to tuner popularity in the car community. Easy to control, fun to slide and drift around, and an attainable price. Although I understood the point of how low the horsepower was of the car, I just couldn't bring myself to 100% love the car with it's insanely slow acceleration for the price. I said to myself "well hopefully they turbo the next one." They didn't. My expectations for this car were not too high but thankfully it pleasantly proved me wrong in a lot of ways. So let's go for a rip and talk about it! The Toyota GR86 might possibly be the closest thing we've ever gotten to a true Corolla AE86 Trueno sequel. Let's turn up the eurobeat.
