Which is quicker in a drag race - an all-new Audi RS7 Performance, or a BMW M3 Touring?

Well we’re about to find out as they go head-to-head over the quarter-mile!

So let’s see how the two compare. Starting with the BMW, it’s powered by a 3-litre twin-turbo straight-six that can produce 510hp and 650Nm of torque. This power is sent to all four wheels via an 8-speed automatic gearbox, and it weighs in at 1,865kg.

Then we come to the Audi. Under the bonnet it’s packing a 4-litre twin-turbo V8, and this produces a glorious 630hp and 850Nm. It’s equipped with an 8-speed automatic gearbox, and this delivers the power to all-four wheels. When it comes to weight, it tips the scales at 2,065kg.
