Ducati unveiled the 2025 Streetfighter V2 and V2 S alongside the new Panigale V2 models at EICMA, breaking tradition by releasing both naked and faired variants simultaneously. Based on the lightest Panigale ever, the new Streetfighter V2 is also the lightest Streetfighter to date, with Ducati claiming a weight of 386 pounds for the S model (without fuel) – nearly 40 lbs less than its predecessor, thanks to the updated 890cc V2 engine and the lightweight chassis.

Visually, the Streetfighter V2 keeps the brand’s aggressive design, with minimal bodywork, a mechanical aesthetic, and a sharp LED headlight. At the rear, the dual under-tail exhausts return, referencing Ducati’s superbike history.

The front portion of the aluminum monocoque frame doubles as the airbox and uses the engine as a stressed component. Ducati focused on chassis flex and rider feedback, incorporating a double-sided swingarm inspired by the Panigale V4. The V2 comes with a Marzocchi fork and Kayaba shock, while the V2 S gets Öhlins NIX30 suspension and a lighter lithium-ion battery.

Both versions share cast six-spoke wheels wrapped in Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV tires, with Brembo M50 calipers and 320 mm discs up front. Electronics are extensive: Cornering ABS with slide-by-brake, Ducati Traction and Wheelie Control, Engine Brake Control, and Ducati Quick Shift 2.0. Riders can choose from four Ride Modes and view info on a 5-inch TFT display with three customizable layouts.

Optional features include a racing exhaust (boosting power from 120 hp to 126 hp and cutting 10 lbs), cruise control, navigation, and lap-timing tools. The Streetfighter V2 arrives in Q2 2025, priced at $14,995 for the base model and $17,995 for the V2 S. The base comes as a two-seater; the V2 S is single-seat with a passenger kit available. Both arrive in Ducati Red.
