Meet the all-new Kia EV5: a sharp-looking mid-size SUV that's going big on value for money in the hopes of stealing sales away from the extremely popular Skoda Enyaq, Tesla Model Y and Renault Scenic, among others.

This is also the electric alternative to the best-selling Kia Sportage, but the EV5 is even more spacious and is filled with technology. Plus every model will offer over 300 miles of range, thanks to a big 81.4kWh battery, yet prices are set to start from a little over £38,000.

The Kia EV5 isn't going to arrive in the UK until close to the end of 2025, so our man Ellis went to check it out in a studio to see if the Skoda Enyaq should be nervous or not...
