Slammedenuff Gatlinburg (Sevierville) has been an event I've heard about for years now after the fall of H2Oi. I've been told this was the closest thing to it with a smoky mountain twist. Well in 2025 I finally wasn't booked on the same weekend and decided to make the trip with the camera car and the Legacy! My wife, Cody, and myself, made the trip from Texas to Tennessee to see what this event was all about, show off the car, and sell some merch! The first few days felt awesome having a cabin in the mountains and hearing the sounds of loud exhausts off in the distance run a similar strip. Nothing for me will ever match the vibes of H2Oi in Ocean City, but this was pretty close. People came from all over, friends all stayed together in cabins and there was a main meeting spot. It had a "strip" you could cruise up and down and tourist attractions to keep you busy all weekend. We used the first full day we were there to film as many features as we could. We checked out the spots we scouted on google maps for the first time in real life and captured some beautiful footage. As the weekend and the actual show days got closer the town started to become way to overcrowded. Streets were backed up for miles and it didn't make sense to try and film anything around the area as it would take you hours to move an inch. Luckily most of the planned filming we had already captured besides the show itself. The show turnout was awesome and was going to be two days of totally different cars inside the venue which would've been something new for me! Sadly that night the city got even more crowed and fights broke out causing the town to shut down the 2nd day of the show. We stayed in our cabin's hot tub that night because it didn't make sense to try and drive anywhere. I would've loved to experience the show in its full capacity but it now seems like I'll never get to do that as this was most likely the last GAT ever. Thank you to everyone who took time to film with us over the weekend and to everyone that said hello or picked up some merch! The love was really felt which is something I haven't had in a long time so thank you all for that. Hopefully I can make it to more events like this this year and create more After Movies like the good ol' days.
