Baby Yoda Doesn't Need Training
Subscribe: bit.ly/Subscribe-to-CBR
The Mandalorian FINALLY gave us all what we’ve always wanted. Ahsoka Tano has arrived in all of her live action Rosario Dawson glory! While she no longer fights with a ton of flips like a weightless animated character, she’s become a stealthy samurai-style warrior who has raised the bar on Jedi action forever! While it seemed like Mando might leave his Foundling with her for Jedi training there for a second, she shocked everyone by refusing to take the child as her Padawan.
So why in the world would she refuse to take on a student so powerful and so adorable? While this might seem foolish to someone unfamiliar with Tano’s past, Clone Wars and Rebels fans know exactly what’s up. You see, Ahsoka Tano was trained by none other than Anakin Skywalker, AKA the Jedi most known for having attachment issues that led him to the dark side. It is no surprise that she would want to avoid making the same mistakes Anakin’s two masters made by taking him on.
Not only that but Ahsoka saw that Grogu hadn’t yet picked his own destiny. You see, there was another ancient warrior clan that was just as big an influence on his young life. Will Grogu become a Jedi like his lineage would suggest or will he choose the path of the Mandalore?
Let’s find out together as we explore all the reasons why Ahsoka Tano was right to refuse to train Baby Yoda.
