The Times Rick And Morty Went Too Far

Everyone knows that Rick and Morty is a great show but it’s humor is definitely less than family-friendly more often than not. Today we’re going to talk about some of the times this show went too far and point out some hidden jokes you might not have noticed the first time you watched. The whole episode “Meeseeks and Destroy” is pretty problematic from the idea of the eponymous characters heading to jail to Morty’s unfortunate interaction with the Jellybean King. In “Rick Potion #9” the world gets totally out of control thanks to a combination of a love concoction and the flu. While Mr. Sanchez is known for being the wild one in his family, his daughter is no slouch either as we learned during the episode “ABC’s of Beth.” In “Raising Gazorpazorp,” Morty learns how to be a parent but the road to parenthood is frankly pretty gross as well as inappropriate. If you’ve ever wished your dog could talk and communicate with you you might feel differently after watching “Lawnmower Dog.” And then, of course, there’s Jerry’s relationship with Sleepy Gary which we see represented in multiple episodes of the show.
We’ll go over twenty moments which are definitely meant for adults but there are definitely more out there! Make sure to take some time to share your favorite scenes with us in the comment section and then click on the subscribe button for more videos from us here at CBR.
