MSI's 'M.2 Shield' - Has it Improved? Z370 Revisit

A few months ago we saw the initial iteration for MSI's M.2 Shield, and it wasn't pretty. A paper thin thermal pad yielded no benefit whatsoever, but for Z370 boards they have beefed it up significantly - let's take a look!
