The video demonstrates how you can build a real-time Card Fraud Detection system on AWS using replicated data from mainframe. The data from VSAM, DB2 or IMS is replicated near real-time to AWS from mainframe using Precisely software from AWS mainframe Modernization service.

The replicated data is used to train AI/ML model in Amazon Fraud Detection service or Amazon Sagemaker. The trained model is invoked during real-time payment authorization to generate a fraud probability score. The score is used with other business rules to detect fraud, and approve or decline the payment request.
