BMW is charging forward with its electrification strategy and has debuted the BMW i Vision Dynamics concept at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show. As an all-electric four-door sedan, the BMW i Vision Dynamics concept previews a new car that will compete with the Tesla Model S. BMW’s concept has 373 miles (600 km) of range and a top speed of 120 mph (200 km/h), while the sprint to 62 mph (100 km/h) takes under four seconds. The entry-level Model S currently has about 230 miles of range and the topline P100D can go 315 miles on one charge, so BMW claims its Tesla killer will have more range. Unfortunately, not too much information on the concept’s batteries, charging time or powertrain was shared.
The BMW X7 concept was also unveiled and previews a full-size, six-seat plug-in hybrid SUV.
