It’s time for an Audi vs ‘Audi’ showdown!
We’ve brought along Mat’s Audi RS7 Performance for one final drag race, and it’s going up against an Audi RSQ8 in disguise… Also known as a Lamborghini Urus! They’re both powered by the same engine, but which will come out on top? For starters, let’s take a closer look at the stats…
The Lamborghini Urus is powered by a 4-litre twin-turbo V8 that can produce 650hp and 850Nm of torque. Power is sent to all four wheels via an 8-speed torque converter gearbox, and the car weighs in at 2,197kg. As new, the Urus cost from £175,000.
As for the RS7, you’ll find the same 4-litre twin-turbo V8 under the bonnet. Here though, it’s tuned to 630hp and 850Nm of torque, and power is sent to all four wheels via the same 8-speed torque converter gearbox. It tips the scales at 2,065kg, and when new it costs from £130,000.
So the RS7 is lighter, but the Urus has more power! Can you pick a winner? There’s only one way to find out for sure… LET’S RACE!
