If you’re in the market for a compact crossover, you’ll probably gravitate towards stuff like the Honda CR-V or Toyota RAV4, but the Ford Escape is Ford’s most popular model after the F-150 and after driving it, it’s easy to see why. I didn’t always think the Escape deserved to be this popular, but this compact crossover was refreshed for the 2017 model year and it gets a lot of features that make it really competitive. The 2017 Ford Escape has everything you would want if you’re shopping for a compact crossover.
