Like Tesla with the Model S, Birmingham Council is thinking differently. No longer is it counting the cost of every little thing, but it's investing in the city's cultural future, with Europe's biggest regional library - the Library of Birmingham.
Tesla's doing something similar with the Model S - bringing affordable, uncompromised electric driving to the market and trusting it to bring with it the infrastructure that's required.
