The next video in the Woodward dream cruise series, we head to a Formula D drifting event around an abandoned train station in downtown Detroit, Michigan. I had never been to a drifting event in person before so obviously I was excited. It was crazy seeing all the different kind of drift cars such as RX7's Fd's,FC's,240sx and Silvias, and even a Coyote Mustang 5.0 driven by a girl driver. (marry me now) Formula D really shows just how much technique is involved in the sport, and my hats are off to the drivers at the event.
After the event, we then ate at the Hard rock cafe downtown, explored a few buildings, and then rode the people mover (aka the monorail) that is in downtown Detroit. This was just a taste of what was ahead....
