My Dad and I recently embarked on a lengthy road trip to Rhode Island to pick up a new classic car I just bought, a 1965 Ford Fairlane 500 Sports Coupe. Ended up being a 36 hour journey or so, but one we will never forget!
Many of you all probably know that I used to have a '65 Fairlane 500 2 door sedan, which I sold a while back. I loved that car, came across this example, which was top of the line for the day, and couldn't pass it up. With 47,000 miles and modest restoration, this car is a gem.
