Why Does My Oil Pressure Gauge Read Low Chevy Silverado Suburban Tahoe GMC Sierra Yukon

The Oil Pressure gauge Stepper motor on our 04 GMC Sierra is failing, see what this looks like and note that it can happen to any of the gauges. If you have the right tools you can replace them but it is a difficult repair.

This repair was done on a 2007 GMC Yukon XL 1500 Denali 6.2L Sport Utility 4-Door AWD Automatic and the process should be similar on the following vehicles:
