1A Auto shows you how to replace the vent door actuator on a 1998 Ford Explorer. This process is the same for 98, 99, 00, and 01 Ford Explorer, 01, 02, 03, 04, and 05 Sport Trac, 01 to 03 Explorer Sport, 98 to 00 and the 05, 06 and 07 Ranger, 98 to 01 Mercury Mountaineer, and similar for 02 to 04 Ford Expedition and 02 to 04 Lincoln Navigator.

This repair was done on a 1998 Ford Explorer XL 4.0L and the process should be similar on the following vehicles:
1995 Ford Explorer
1996 Ford Explorer
1997 Ford Explorer
1998 Ford Explorer
1999 Ford Explorer
2000 Ford Explorer
2001 Ford Explorer
