The Ssangyong Tivoli has been designed to be different – both from the Korean firm’s previous machines, and from its rivals in the small crossover category.
Those differences are clear from a quick glance at the Tivoli’s eye-catching curves, lines and creases – and are reinforced if you spend time in the stylish and spacious interior. To find out more, watch this video.
The Tivoli’s exterior design notes include a piano-black grille, upturned headlights (which incorporate LED daytime running lights) and 18in alloys on the EX and ELX models. It has a pronounced roof angle, complex surfacing on the side panels, and sizeable haunches over the rear wheels.
Buyers can choose from eight paint colours, with the My Tivoli personalisation programme giving them further freedom to create their own distinctive car. Options include five two-tone finishes with a black or white roof, and extra styling packs are available with ELX trim.
Inside, the Tivoli features full leather upholstery – grey or beige on EX and ELX spec, together with front seat heaters. Air conditioning is standard on the entry-level SE trim, while EX and ELX models get dual-zone climate control.
Inside, it’s also clear just how much space the Tivoli has: even taller people will be able to enjoy longer journeys in comfort. And the boot will house three golf bags with the rear seats up.
All this style and space is also tremendous value for money. The Tivoli range starts from £12,950 - and comes with an impressive five-year warranty.
