The BMW X6 and it's M-i'fied descendants really popularized the "SUV as a Coupe" genre of luxury vehicle that we now see as pretty much the standard style for high-end SUV's. Audi, Mercedes, and Porsche all now make "CoupeUV's." So while we maintain the sloped back version of this vehicle (the squared off X5M is otherwise identical) adds no practicality, doesn't look great, and removes rear visibility, we have few criticisms about how it drives. The performance, at every metric, defies its heavy curb weight and is still the gold standard of the Fast SUV industry.
