The Audi RS7 was the heaviest hitter on the block when it landed in the US... until last year's RS6 Avant showed up. But now the RS7 gets the complete underpinnings of the RS6 Avant, just without, you know, the Avant part. Instead, it's got a hatchback that hides a surprisingly large trunk. The performance? Blistering. The ride quality? Extraordinary. So although us car nerds will always prefer the wagons, don't count out the hatchbacks - they still got it.
