It’s time for an almighty van showdown!

Mat’s got his hands on a Ford Transit MS-RT, and he’s going head-to-head against a Mercedes Vito!

So which will come out on top? Well starting with the Ford, it’s powered by a 2-litre Diesel engine that can deliver 184hp & 415Nm of torque. It’s pretty heavy, weighing in at 2.2 tonnes, and it also comes with a sporty body kit and a couple of interior upgrades, although we don’t think these will help in this battle!

As for the Mercedes, it’s down on power, with its 1.8-litre turbo diesel putting down 134hp & 330Nm of torque. It’s lighter than the Ford, too, tipping the scales at 2 tonnes.

What’s more, that’s not the end of the battle… The winner of the first challenge needs to go toe-to-toe with the new VW Transporter! With a 2-litre turbo diesel under the bonnet, it can deliver 206hp & 450Nm!
