Now we bet this is a drag race you didn’t expect to see today!

Mat’s rolled up to our latest drag race in an all-electric Kia EV6, and he’s going up against a Ferrari F355 to see whether a mid-level EV can match up to a supercar from the ‘90s!

Now you might think it’s a foregone conclusion, but these cars are more evenly matched than you may think! Starting with the EV6, it’s equipped with dual electric motors that can deliver 325hp & 605Nm of torque. It powers all four wheels, and it tips the scales at 2,090kg.

Then we have the Ferrari. It’s a whole lot lighter than the Kia, weighing in at 1,350kg. It’s also powered by a 3.5-litre naturally-aspirated V8, that’s good for 380hp & 360Nm.

However, it has two potential disadvantages. For one, it only drives the rear wheels, and secondly, it’s a manual! Will that prove the difference? There’s only one way to find out… LET’S RACE!
