This video shows you how to install a new seal on your 2009-2011 Ford F-150. This seal is for the end of a solid axle tube, to keep gear oil in, and the elements out. A leaking seal could lead to considerable damage to your differential. Or, if you needed to remove an axle, or a bearing, or do maintenance on a differential, you should install a new seal when you put things back together.
