Porsche has electrified the 911 GTS with a gearbox-mounted electric motor and a compact liquid-cooled lithium ion battery. As Hormazd Sorabjee finds out over hot laps at the Ascari circuit and a blast theough the Spanish countryside, the hybrid system brings out the best of the 3.6-litre flat six turbo-petrol engine.
