It’s time for an epic German head-to-head!
We’ve got our hands on the BMW M8 Competition, and it’s going up against the new Porsche 911 Carrera GTS! Let’s take a closer look at our contenders…
Starting with the Porsche, it’s powered by a 3.6-litre turbocharged flat-six that delivers 541hp and 610Nm of torque. This power is sent to all four wheels via an 8-speed auto, and it tips the scales at 1,645kg. As new, it costs around £139,100.
The M8 Competition is powered by a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8, and this puts down 625hp and 750Nm. As with the M4, power is sent to all four wheels via an 8-speed auto, and it weighs in at 1,975kg. A new one of these will set you back £137,000.
