Poor people deserve a car too, and that’s what the 1985 Ford Tempo GL was intended to be. We’ve never done a Ford Tempo on Regular Car Reviews, and now we have the opportunity to discuss why this was one of the most important cars of the 1980s, why it went away, and who’s to blame for its disappearance. The Ford Tempo is one of the most thought-provoking cars in the history of RCR, because it made us truly think about what a car like this means to different classes, and how its life and death has changed the automotive landscape in the decades since.
