Few city roads let you use driver assistance systems as intended. Mumbai’s Coastal Road is one of them. So we drove the 5-star Bharat NCAP-rated Honda Amaze from Bandra to Marine Drive, relying largely on its ADAS suite. Adaptive cruise control managed speed and distance, lane keeping assist kept us centred, and collision mitigation remained quietly alert throughout. This isn’t autonomous driving. It’s driver assistance, working exactly as it should.
