The AT&T HP Veer 4G is the smallest phone you can buy. With just a 2.6" display that is 400x320 resolution, the device slips easily into a pocket and is also quite lightweight. Inside there is an 800MHz Scropion CPU with 512MB of RAM, plus 8GB of storage. For graphics there is the Adreno 205 GPU.

Overall, the hardware of the HP Veer 4G is quite good. The keys are tiny and clicky, but very usable and pleasing to use. There's a quick switch for muting the device like many previous Palm smartphones.

One word of warning: do not try to remove the back battery cover. It is not meant to be removed. You can access the SIM card slot from the top of the phone by pushing a fingernail into the SIM card flap.
