By moving from a monolithic architecture to microservices on AWS, Agero automated workloads, optimized its data platform, and was able to innovate on its core business and along the value chain. Agero provides connected vehicle data, roadside assistance, and claims management services to over 80 million drivers and leading insurers. Using AWS Lambda, Agero’s MileUp app enables driver’s smartphones to detect, validate, and prevent crashes. Bernie Gracy, chief digital officer at Agero, spoke onstage at the 2018 AWS Chicago Summit.
