To compete against larger companies in a competitive market and meet their needs for scalability and elasticity, Innovium chose to set up its high-performance computing (HPC) environment on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud. They also needed a common data storage solution so Innovium used Amazon Elastic Block Store (Amazon EBS) for persistent block storage volumes with Amazon EC2. With AWS, Innovium can speed innovation by scaling HPC workloads on demand to hundreds of cores, meet strict SLAs for product delivery, and lower costs.
