You might call them hipster motorcycles, but some manufacturers have recognized the calling for motorcycles to return to their roots. It's not always about which is the fastest, most advanced, or most specialized. In fact, this class of motorcycle is just the opposite – bare bones and elemental.

For this video, we've gathered the Ducati Scrambler Full Throttle, Harley-Davidson Roadster, Moto Guzzi V9 Roamer, Triumph Bonneville T120, and Yamaha XSR900 to showcase five different motorcycles that dial back the pace a bit (well, except the Yamaha) and remind its rider what it's like to simply sit back and enjoy the ride.
