What Makes a Fast Half-Mile Car?

Half-Mile racing is all about who can clock the fastest trap speed at the end of a non prepped half mile surface. This is a bit different than other types of drag racing. The unprepared surface means that traction is limited and stability can be a serious problem at higher speeds. There's a lot that goes into building a half mile car.
