The Story:
"My husband has inoperable head and neck cancer stage IV . Fortunately, the cancer is curable with very costly chemotherapy, radiation treatments expensive medications so far upwards of $72,000. A year ago he had thyroid cancer which was removed and was in great health. The entire procedure cost us $200. At that time he was a member of a health organization that covered all of his medical costs due to being a diabetic and disabled. No monthly payments, no deductible, $0 cost for all specialist and only $15 co-pay to primary Doctor and $30 for ER. Because of Obamacare, every member was forced to buy an insurance policy. We now pay $130/month for medicare causing a struggle each month to pay our mortgage. So far Medicare has not recognized the majority costs of the cancer leaving us to pay all of the difference plus any 20%. Anyway too many numbers. Bottom line is we have used all our savings and have sold nearly everything in our home. The bills keep coming in every day and will eventually force us to loose our home. We thank God for The American Cancer Society, Wellspan Medical and others who have extended funds to their fullest ability. We prayed hard for some direction. Then one day we received a $100 Walmart card from an unknown person, then a Christmas card with $20 gas card in it from someone we didn't even know. We mentioned those gifts from these wonderful Angels to a friend who told us about Gofundme, a place full of Angels always ready to help good people. So we did it (don't tell anyone but it took us 6 days to figure it out, we don't know much about PC's). Bless you all !!!"
