Jeep pulls broken Toyota 4Runner out of canyon!!

We got a call for a Toyota 4 Runner, that was stuck down at the Virgin River, just below the diversion dam.
We know the area well, it's a steep descent to the river, but most any decent 4 wheel drive should drive out of it.
So we were a little confused when we found them not stuck, but it quickly became apparent when they tried to go without being towed.
A broken CV axle disabled the front wheel drive, and the hill is far too steep for 2 wheel drive!
With the mighty banana, and the Yankum rope, we were able to tow them up the hill with no problems!
