Can a Lorry Push a Car at over 40mph Without The Driver Realising?

After a Post Office lorry pushed a car sideways down the A40 dual carriageway in London AND it was later revealed the driver was from Car Throttle AND celebrity singer Ellie Goulding happened to be passing by... we haven't stopped debating and hypothesising at Yiannimize.

When Daniel from Ashville Construction got involved in the debate he offered to bring one of his Scania tractor unit's down to try to analyse the possibilities. Was this an amazingly outlandish stunt for publicity (that we're jealous of) or simply a crazy coincidence of circumstances?

Was this a slow-mo T-Bone / unintentional PIT maneuver? Has any other cabin or impact video surfaced yet? How did the truck driver not see or hear the VW Golf for almost 1 mile?
