The Ford C-Max is one of the best handling cars in its class, yet the ride isn't overly firm. Running costs are low, there's lots of leg- and headroom, and the boot is huge.

It's not as versatile as some rivals, and the person sitting in the central rear seat might find shoulder room a bit tight. There's also a little too much wind noise at motorway speeds.
