The R35 Nissan GTR hit the shores of the US in July 2008. 13 Years ago. Ever since then Nissan has built a near identical car with small updates throughout time. The R35 went from the more "affordable" supercar dominator to supercar pricing in just a few short years after these updates. Today we drive the 45th anniversary edition of the R35 GTR and talk about the history of the R35, it's legacy in car culture, and why Nissan needs to build an R36 GTR. At least with the future 400Z there is some hope for the future of the GTR name.
