This video shows you how to check for bad engine mounts.

I should have replaced all the engine mounts in my 2005 Honda Element when I installed the new engine. Because I didn’t, I’m doing it now.

Not only are most of the noises gone, but I also feel like the Element has better traction since I installed the new mounts.

The take away, if you’re replacing an engine, check the mounts and replace them if they are questionable.

Anchor Industries sent me the engine mounts used in this video: anchor-online.com
