The Alpine A110, for Americans who don't know, is a retro-future version of a French sports car by the same name from the early 1970's. It was known for being light and visceral, and the new version is no different. European journalists and enthusiasts have sang the A110's praises for all eight years it's been on the market, but Americans never got a taste on their home roads, until now!

Additional info on the Carnet:
- You can only do it as a non-US resident, the car has to be yours and it has to be registered to your address abroad.
- The agency that gets to approve it is actually the EPA. Customs goes along with the EPA letter.
- The insurance company was actually fine with the VIN, the issue is whether the car is registered in a US state or not. If you successfully manage to register it, insurance is no problem.
