This Was Supposed to Be a Simple Corvette Mod

Sometimes you plan a simple day in the shop… and it turns into something completely different.

In this video I install a carbon fiber intake on my C6 Z06 Corvette and see if it actually makes a difference. While I’m in the garage I also knock out some powder coating work for the shop, talk about a few things going on behind the scenes, and somehow the day ends up including guns and meeting fellow YouTuber Julian Brown.

Basically one of those random days where a quick project turns into a whole adventure.

The Z06 has been one of my favorite cars to work on lately, and this carbon intake is one of those mods I’ve been wanting to try for a while. We’ll get it installed, take a look at how it fits, and talk about whether it’s actually worth doing.

I also show a little bit of the powder coating process from the shop for anyone curious how some of that work gets done.
