Stellantis will develop and manufacture a new Jeep in India for global markets through its joint venture with Tata Motors. According to Grégoire Olivier, Head of Asia Pacific at Stellantis, the Tata partnership will provide a “highly competitive platform” for the upcoming model, which will be one of five globally-oriented products Stellantis is developing in Asia using local partnerships. Stellantis aims to sell 100,000 localised cars globally by 2028, these will include products developed through its Dongfeng and Tata partnerships.
